It is an extremely fine polyester fabric with a repositional adhesive somewhat like Post-it notes.

If you happen to stick the material together in the process of installation, you can pull the material apart with slow and steady tugging...Then when applied to the wall, you will be able to smooth out any wrinkles. You always will want to smooth down from the center outwards. If there is a wrinkle, pull off the print from the nearest corner until you reach the wrinkle, then smooth it back down towards the corner. You can use your hands. Wash first (for the umpteenth time today!). Some people will use credit cards or a hardbound book edge as a way to install the material.

For simplicity and value. No need to be bigger than what the camera will see. We used an iMac desktop to determine sizes at 5’, 6’, and 7’ feet from camera to the wall. You might have to adjust the distance depending on the computer you are using.

Only the good stuff. We’ll make your images look great or tell you when we think they’re not working. Please note; we honor creators and respect copyrighted material.

Pretty much unlimited. Low resolution files can be improved with Photoshop filters where pixels become painterly dabs of color. Email us (custom@switchfab.com )and we’ll follow up with a phone call to go over the details. We’ll email section samples as full size jpegs so show the resulting effect. Maximum print width is 59”. Best plan would be to tile the image using 59" wide vertical panels. 

To be easy on the eyes. If you’ve got to live with a big splash of color in your living space, aqua (PMS631c) and teal (PMS 808c) can offer softer options than highway sign green (PMS 354c).

Yes. You will need to save the carrier sheet. It will take two people to carefully start to peel it off the wall. Start from the bottom and slowly peel upward, holding by the corners. Once off the wall, with people at both ends, carefully align along a long edge, smooth it down, then slowly roll it down on the carrier sheet, smoothing from the center outwards It's a lot like our installation video.

Storage. If the carrier sheet is evenly attached and the print is rolled loosely (7"+ diameter), the print can be stored. Uneven attachment to the carrier sheet over time can dry exposed adhesive.

This material applies best to a wall with flat paint. We have found that some paints and commercial vinyl wallcovering have a waxy surface that shed the Switchfab material over time. The best way to test is to place Post-it Notes on the wall and observe them for a day. We've had situations where they fall off within 15 minutes.

Keep the backer sheet on the material and use either push pins, tape, magnets or velcro.

First do a test to determine how big the background must be to fill your screen edge to edge. Keep the backer sheet on and use push pins or small super magnets. 

Go to your lumberyard or big box store and purchase a 4' x 8' sheet of foam insulation board. It comes in 1"-2" thicknesses and cost $13-$35. You can have them cut it to size. You may want to keep the 48" height to aid in propping it up. Notice the the large size background is 52" in height, so if you lose 4", you may have to bring your camera a few inches closer.

Keep the backer sheet on the background and use a lot of push pins or tacks around the edge. TIP: you may require longer pins to stay stuck in the foam. You can get decorative sewing pins can could add a fun detail to the background.

Although the teleconferencing background print idea came about because of Covid 19, Switchfab has been working for years on a different product line that we hope to introduce within a year. In the meantime, we see an opportunity to help people look their best while working from home.

  • Free shipping offer is via United States Postal Service. Local orders take 4-6 business days to be delivered to you and we ship standard designs within 2 business days.

Rush and International shipping will be charged depending on your chosen delivery method and country. Full price will be displayed at checkout.

Follow the instructions by providing us with delivery information and select payment method the for goods - we will ship your package within 2 business days for standard designs. We'll ship in 2-4 days after design approval for custom work.

Customs duty is calculated as a percentage of the customs value of the goods:
The percentage or rate varies depending on the type of goods. You can check the tariff applicable in the TARIC database for EU and Import calculator for USA.
  • The customs value is made up of:
  • the price paid for the goods,
  • the insurance cost,
  • the shipping cost.

Your 100% satisfaction is important for us. We offer a 30-days Return & Exchange Policy:
  • If a product gets damaged or was faulty upon a delivery - we offer 100% refund.
  • Timing: we have a 30-days Return & Exchange Policy, since the day item was received.
  • To be eligible for a return, goods must be unopened, unused, undamaged and accompanied by proof of purchase.
  • For returns, please email custom@switchfab.com with the subject 'Returns' and include your order number, name and the reason for the return.
  • Seller will provide the customer with instructions where to send returned goods. Customers are strongly recommended to get proof of postage when returning goods to avoid "lost packages" situations.
  • Please note that customers are responsible for shipping costs of returned items.
  • When returned item is received and inspected, customer receives a confirmation email, notifying about the status of the refund.
  • If the refund is approved, then it will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to customer's credit card or original payment method shortly after.
